Prepare for Supersized Episodes Worthy of the ‘Queen Charlotte’ Crown

Would you expect anything less from the Bridgerton world’s most extravagant royal?

    April 24, 2023

Queen Charlotte is never one to follow the rules — she makes them. She wants splashier diamonds. More unforgettable balls. And, of course, bigger, grander wigs.

So, it’s only natural that Charlotte’s Bridgerton spin-off, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, will be more extravagant than ever when the limited series premieres on May 4. We’re pleased to announce Queen Charlotte’s six episode titles — and their supersized lengths. Prepare to spend a palatial amount of time with the Bridgerton world’s most fabulous royal (played by India Amarteifio in the 1700s and Golda Rosheuvel in the Regency era).

Episode 1: “Queen to Be”

Episode 2: “Honeymoon Bliss”

Episode 3: “Even Days”

Episode 4: “Holding the King”

Episode 5: “Gardens in Bloom”

Episode 6: “Crown Jewels”

Each episode of Queen Charlotte will be more than 50 sumptuous minutes. But it’s the final two installments of the season that truly exemplify its subject’s lavish values. Episode 5 will be 75 minutes long, and the finale spans 86 dazzling minutes, giving you nearly an hour-and-a-half with its eponymous figurehead, her husband young King George (Corey Mylchreest) and winsome ally Agatha Danbury (Arsema Thomas). You can also expect peeks into the Regency era of the Bridgerton universe, with appearances from Adjoa Andoh as Lady Danbury and Ruth Gemmell as Lady Violet Bridgerton.

All together, you can plan to spend well over six magnificent hours with Queen Charlotte and her court. Now that’s a good ball.

Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story premieres globally on May 4. Keep checking back with Tudum to learn all the secrets hiding behind the series’ palace walls.
