    Plus: The second seasons of The Gentlemen and Leanne make strong debuts on the English TV list.

Audiences joined the hunt for The Whisper Man in droves, as the chilling crime thriller topped the English film list with 33.4 million views. Adam Scott stars in the movie as Tom, a widower grappling with the abduction of his son, Jake (Acston Luca Porto). Could the culprit be the titular serial killer, imprisoned since his arrest? Michelle Monaghan, Robert De Niro, and Hamish Linklater are also in the adaptation of Alex North’s novelTurning Point: Generation 9/11 debuted in the No. 2 spot on the list, collecting 5.2 million views. Twenty-five years after 9/11, the documentary explores how a single day shaped the next generation.

Death of the Pastor’s Wife held the top spot of the English TV list with 13.9 million views. The documentary series recounts the life of South Carolina worship leader Mica Miller, her toxic marriage to charismatic pastor John-Paul “JP” Miller, and the abuse she endured before her death. Season 3 of Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black kept the No. 2 spot on the list, racking up 8 million views. The drama about the Bellarie family’s hair-care empire sees unlikely allies Kimmie (Taylor Polidore Williams) and Mallory (Crystle Stewart) making increasingly dangerous choices — and facing the fallout.

Season 2 of The Gentlemen launched at the No. 3 spot on the list with 6.7 million views, while Season 1 returned to the list in the No. 5 spot with 3.2 million views. Theo James plays Eddie Horniman, a British soldier who unexpectedly inherits his family’s estate — and the marijuana empire underneath it. In Season 2, Eddie and Susie (Kaya Scodelario) expand their thriving business to the lakeside villas of Italy. Created by Guy Ritchie, the show has been renewed for Season 3.

In the final episodes of the young adult series, the tight-knit Pogues of the barrier island community work together to process a major loss and secure a valuable artifact that could change their lives. Instadocs: The Decoy Plane flew into the No. 6 spot on the list with 2.9 million views. The latest installment of Instadocs unpacks the July 2026 incident in which President Trump boarded Air Force One, then slipped off the plane into a catering truck, and secretly boarded a different aircraft — leaving traveling reporters to fly on, unaware the president was no longer with them.

Season 2 of Leanne premiered at No. 9 on the list, gathering 2.1 million views. The sophomore season of comedian Leanne Morgan’s feel-good sitcom follows a fictionalized version of Leanne as she continues her self-discovery journey, and proves it’s never too late for a fresh start. And Earle Meets World debuted in the No. 10 spot on the list with 1.8 million views. The eight-episode unscripted series showcases Gen Z influencer Alix Earle, and the real-time messiness of her blended family and dynamic friend group.

The Danish thriller The Secret Woman climbed to the top spot of the non-English film list with 19.3 million views. Based on Anna Ekberg’s novel, the film follows an amnesiac woman who uncovers her previous life as the heiress to a shipping empire — and quickly discovers why she left it all behind. And the Korean series Mousetrap sprung to the No. 1 spot on the non-English TV list with 4.4 million views. The twisty crime thriller stars Ryu Jun-yeol as a reclusive novelist who teams up with a cruel loan shark to hunt down a shadowy identity thief known as “The Rat.”
