In Instant Dream Home, designers and their crews set out to do the impossible: take on challenging home repairs and thoughtful redesigns in 12 hours for deserving families. Host Danielle Brooks (Orange Is the New Black) and her team keep the redesigns a secret from the homeowners, who, for reasons beyond their control, aren’t able to upkeep the houses themselves.

Danielle Brooks

Tony-nominated actor Danielle Brooks hosts the series and is the team leader for all the renovations. She champions the 200-person crew as renos are in progress, then surprises homeowners with their newly redone abodes. 

Brooks is known for her performance as Taystee in the Netflix dramedy Orange Is the New Black. In 2023, she’ll star as Sofia in the second film adaptation of Alice Walker’s 1982 novel The Color Purple.

Special projects lead Paige Mobley creates detailed spaces, tied into each family’s passions and pastimes, that promote togetherness and well-being. She teams up with the other designers to make dynamic renovations throughout each home.

Mobley is a model and actor. She was a contestant on cycle 23 of America’s Next Top Model.
