Sometimes, we all need advice from friends — even if we don’t particularly want it. That’s the predicament in which Jabari (Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi) and Meadow (Jessica Williams) find themselves in a clip from Mescudi’s new animated TV special Entergalactic. Jabari and Meadow are next-door neighbors, and there’s a spark that might lead the pair to become something more. But they’ve both been burned before, and they’re hesitant to take that leap. Enter their crew of friends. Meadow turns to her pregnant pal Karina (Vanessa Hudgens), while Jabari touches base with Ky (Ty Dolla $ign) and Jimmy (Timothée Chalamet). They all have a lot of thoughts, none of which Jabari and Meadow are particularly interested in. So the clip ends the same way it began: with the two lovebirds insisting they’re not going to get involved with each other. We’ll see about that.

Entergalactic hits Netflix this Friday, Sept. 30.
