The era of the Byrdes and Langmores is coming to an end. Ozark Season 4, Part 2 is officially dropping this spring: The final episodes stream April 29.
A brand-new teaser gives us a look at the ominous conclusion to the hit series, picking up right where Season 4, Part 1 ends — with (spoiler alert!) a furious and grief-stricken Ruth Langmore (Julia Garner) driving her truck after finding the dead bodies of her cousin Wyatt Langmore (Charlie Tahan) and his new wife Darlene Snell (Lisa Emery).

“My childhood traumas are not like yours,” Ruth tells us solemnly in a voiceover while eyeing the gun resting on the passenger seat. “You see, I’m a cursed Langmore.” The 30-second clip cycles through a series of images reflecting Part 1’s dark conclusion, showing cartel boss Navarro (Felix Solis) in prison, along with Ruth threatening Marty and Wendy Byrde (Jason Bateman and Laura Linney) after learning of Wyatt’s murder. And let’s not forget all the other ways the Byrde family was splintered by the end of Part 1 — like the fact that Wendy and Marty’s son Jonah (Skylar Gaertner) had been partnering with Ruth against their wishes.
Season 4, Part 2 will contain seven episodes and marks the conclusion of the Emmy Award–winning series, which originally debuted in 2017. There’s no telling what’s in store for Marty Byrde and family, but one thing is certain from this teaser: Ruth Langmore is ready for vengeance.
