“Something from the Upside Down must have survived last year,” Dustin says in a new teaser for the upcoming animated series Stranger Things: Tale From ’85. The project comes from showrunner Eric Robles (Glitch Techs, Fanboy & Chum Chum) and Stranger Things co-creators Matt and Ross Duffer.

The sneak peek, which you can watch above, previews the strange new creatures roaming around Hawkins. “It’s like Hawkins Lab science meets Upside Down matter,” Robles tells Tudum. “When you put them together, those are the kinds of creatures we have in our world.”

Plus, we get our first glimpse of Steve Harrington, voiced by Jeremy Jordan (Supergirl, Hazbin Hotel) in the series.

Two characters seen from above sit inside a vehicle with glowing blue light between them, looking up with surprised and fearful expressions.
