Outer Banks Season 5: Release Date, Photos, Teaser Trailer - Netflix Tudum
P4L. One last time.
The ride-or-die group of friends that stole your hearts in their search for gold and found family will be back for the final season of Outer Banks on August 20. Last season’s shocking finale saw Chandler Groff (J. Anthony Crane) kill his own son, JJ (Rudy Pankow), in front of Kiara (Madison Bailey), and she’s not going to let him get away with it. The Pogues are out for revenge.
Watch the teaser trailer now — set to the iconic Pogue anthem, alt-J’s “Left Hand Free” — to get an early preview of what’s in store for the gang in Season 5.

And that’s not all the treasure we have for you — check out these new photos of Kiara, John B (Chase Stokes), Sarah (Madelyn Cline), Pope (Jonathan Daviss), Cleo (Carlacia Grant), and Rafe (Drew Starkey) as they start piecing together clues about how the series will end.
From the looks of these photos, you might need the brains of the operation, Pope, to answer some questions. Like: Why are they in jail — and, for some of them, for a second time? And why did Cleo set the beloved Twinkie on fire? (Though, how badass does she look doing it?!)

And did the Pogues head to Portugal to find Groff, the worst Outer Banks dad of all time? Or did they see him again on Kildare?
All that and more will be revealed come summer’s end, when Season 5 sails onto your screens. But while you wait, let’s fill you in on what you can expect.
Season 5 finds the Pogues at their absolute breaking point following the tragic loss of JJ in Morocco. Stranded far from home and mourning the heart of their crew, they’ve lost the Blue Crown and continue to face a gauntlet of familiar threats.
With Groff still at large, Dalia (Pollyanna McIntosh) and the Corsairs closing in, and the Kooks ensuring the Pogues have no home to return to, John B, Sarah, Kiara, Pope, and Cleo must rely on their scrappy instincts — and an uneasy alliance with Rafe — to keep from falling apart for good.
Their mission is now a desperate race to reclaim their future and finally win the freedom they’ve been chasing since the beginning. It’s the Pogues against the world as they seek to avenge their best friend and bring it on home … one final time.
Keep coming back to Tudum for the latest on the Pogues’ whereabouts and what you can look forward to from Kildare’s finest in Outer Banks Season 5. Woogity woogity!
