Michael Irvin to Debut Netflix Podcast The White House

The NFL Hall of Famer expands his Netflix presence with a new show premiering Jan. 19, airing twice weekly.

    Jan. 14, 2026

Following his featured roles in the Dallas Cowboys docuseries America’s Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys and as an analyst during NFL Christmas Gameday 2025, NFL Hall of Famer Michael Irvin is expanding his role in the Netflix family with the debut of a new sports talk podcast.

“The Playmaker,” as he was known during his prolific career — which included a National Championship in college and three Super Bowl rings as a pro — will now appear on Netflix hosting his own podcast, The White House with Michael Irvin.

“I am excited about this new venture with Netflix and the opportunity to blend elements of traditional television with the evolving world of podcasting,” Irvin shared with Tudum. “This project allows us to take what worked in the old format and reimagine it for today’s audience.”

Irvin — an enthusiastic mainstay on the sidelines for the University of Miami, his alma mater, during their current College Football Playoff run — is one of the most entertaining and beloved sports personalities today.

When does Michael Irvin’s Netflix podcast premiere?

The White House with Michael Irvin premieres Jan.19 on Netflix.

How often do new episodes of Michael Irvin’s podcast come out?

The show will tackle current sports news, game analysis, and commentary with two episodes a week, featuring a rotating roster of co-hosts, including former NFL All-Pro wide receiver and NFL Christmas Gameday 2025 analyst Brandon Marshall, who is producing The White House with Michael Irvin as well.

Fans can expect passionate, honest, and explosive conversations with no topic off-limits from Irvin, Marshall, and their guests.

Is Michael Irvin hosting the podcast himself?

Yes. Irvin hosts the show and leads discussions alongside a rotating roster of co-hosts and guests. The “White House” of Irvin’s podcast title is inspired by his self-proclaimed presidential role in the legendary party house — a location he described in America’s Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys as “a safe place for camaraderie” — near the Cowboys’ practice facility, which the star wide receiver and his teammates often frequented during their 1990s dynasty.

“We chose the name ‘The White House’ intentionally,” Irvin continued. “In a crowded media landscape, recognition matters — and few names carry the same immediate weight. For better or worse, ‘The White House’ represents power, decision-making, and cultural relevance. It’s a name people recognize and are compelled to engage with.”

“This vision is grounded in my spirituality,” Irvin added. “While the name may surprise some, I believe in, not living by the fear of yesterday but living by the fuel of tomorrow.”

Irvin was the only former Cowboys player to speak on “The White House” in the eight-episode series. America’s Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys is streaming on Netflix now.

Who produces Michael Irvin’s podcast?

Brandon Marshall’s athlete-led podcast company will produce The White House with Michael Irvin, shooting most episodes at their Miami-based studio. Netflix chose Marshall’s company as a partner on this project to further provide unique insights, experience, and access to fans.
