Harry Jowsey walked into Let’s Marry Harry engaged to 20 women. After connecting, cohabitating, and, yes, some spit-swapping, the competition for the Australian heartthrob came down to two women: Dannelle and Amber.
“It was a wild, beautiful journey, and it really taught me to slow down and just to take it day by day,” Harry tells Tudum. “And I got really, really lucky.”
With Dannelle, a Las Vegas cocktail waitress, the connection was easy from the start — a quiet, steady relationship built on inside jokes and a secret ring exchange. With Amber, a Hawaiian travel photographer, it was more of a slow burn. At first, her fiery Aries energy and blunt delivery both scared and excited Harry, but by the end of the journey, he was surprised to find he was head over heels.
In the final days of the experience, both women got the stamp of approval from Harry’s sisters, but only one could walk down the aisle. So how did Harry make his final decision? And what happened after he and his bride said, “I do?”

Yes! Netflix’s most notorious bachelor does, in fact, tie the knot in the finale. Though even Harry wasn’t totally sure how it would go. “Amber is a bit of a wild card,” Harry admits right before the ceremony. “There’s a chance she says, ‘I don’t’.” Well, lucky for him, Amber said, “I do.”
Six weeks together might be a quick engagement for some, but Amber believes unique souls have unique timelines. “This whole process with you has been about surrendering,” Amber says in her vows in the finale. “This is crazy, but I love being crazy with you.”
For Harry, it was Amber’s steadiness that cut through the chaos. “I really love Amber’s confidence and how she thinks about the world,” Harry says in the same episode. Her laid-back energy gives him a sense of calm he’s been missing in his life.
Their connection is built on brutal honesty — no guessing games, no filling in blanks, just saying the quiet part out loud. That directness led to vulnerable moments over the course of their journey that surprised and bonded both of them.
“I had gone through a breakup, and I was ready for someone to really ignite a version of me that was fun,” Amber tells Tudum. “And that really got me excited about Harry.” She fell in love in New Zealand after seeing him surrounded by his family, and the way he made every moment entertaining. “We could watch grass grow,” she adds.
But their love story wasn’t always a sure thing. A real turning point was Harry’s back-and-forth with Juliana, a self-described “sweet, sassy, and always classy” account manager from Houston. The “love bombing” became so unbearable that Amber was ready to self-eliminate rather than endure it much longer. “Thank God [Juliana] left because if it wasn’t going to be her, it was going to be me,” Amber says.
Harry is aware the “immature, younger version” of himself began to rear its ugly head with Juliana, which is why he knew he needed to nip things in the bud. “I know for a fact that this is going to end in me hurting this person,” he says. “There was a lot of those mental gymnastics of understanding that I don’t want to be that guy anymore. I don’t want to hurt anyone. I really want to form into this new version of myself.”
Amber recalls the emotional whiplash of the wedding day, admitting she went into the ceremony still unsure who Harry would choose as his wife. “I left the day before actually quite confused,” she says. “I didn’t know if he was going to pick me and I didn’t know how he felt towards me.” Even Harry’s cryptic parting line the night before — “See you at the altar” — didn’t exactly clear things up, since two brides were prepped with rings and dresses.
Without a clear answer, Amber admits she didn’t even write out her vows ahead of time. “It was from the heart,” she says.
With 20 potential brides and only one Harry, some of the women felt they had to be strategic to get face time with him. Not Dannelle. Instead, she took the “I’ll just be me and see what happens” approach and quietly became one of Harry’s strongest connections in the house.
“I love Dannelle’s tenderness and how sweet she is,” Harry says in the finale, reflecting back on the feeling of safety she provided him. Right up to the end, Dannelle was convinced Harry would pick her. “I just felt so sure in our connection that I couldn't wrap my head around anything else,” she tells Tudum.
Blindsided, Dannelle had to sit in her wedding dress and listen as Harry called off their engagement. “I’ve really fallen in love with you,” Harry says in the episode. “But this past week, I started second-guessing everything.”
After their conversation, Dannelle assumed Harry wasn’t ready for marriage. “I just remember saying, ‘If he’s not marrying me today, he’s not getting married,’” she recalls. Later she learned Harry had chosen Amber.
Dannelle pieced it together with the help of her friends and family, who were staying at the same hotel as Amber’s loved ones. “It was pretty easy to figure out that everyone was on their way to the wedding,” Dannelle says. “I didn’t sleep that whole night. I was up till 4:00 a.m.”
